Help me decide on colours!

Driving myself nuts deciding on colours for my living room. It’s south facing, nice and light, reasonable size room.

I am torn between all one colour, feature wall/s.

If I do all one colour, would be this (natural slate)

slate grey

If I go with two colours, would be these two (I think)

warm pewter

And

hamilton

But I was thinking of doing my two opposite, smaller, walls the darker ones. Am I mad - will this work? Or look ridiculous??

I have warm pewter on 3 walls with wallpaper. I love the shade of grey that warm pewter is. I find some greys are cold but as the name says warm pewter is warm and it goes well with all other colours. Not too dark or pale.

I’m more worried about the Hamilton being too dark....

It would probably go, I'd do 3 walls warm pewter and 1 Hamilton so that the darker colour isn't too over powering.

I'm completely off grey, i much prefer a proper colour. Sorry.

I'm not a fan of grey (too ubiquitous) - but that's purely a matter of taste.

I do, however, think that feature walls are in very bad taste, regardless of the colour palette.

Well wouldn’t it be boring if we all liked the same things I don’t care particularly care about what is considered bad taste, I don’t plan on putting my house up for any style awards in the near future.

I’ve gone with natural slate on all walls. The Hamilton seemed to get darker and darker every time I looked at it!

I don’t think you know with greys until you buy a tester and try them on the wall.
