Playroom is desperate. Help!

Right, going to paint the walls of this really untidy playroom (don't judge).

Was thinking Dix Blue. It's a south facing room but never that bright due to all the foliage outside.

Any other suggestions? Thanks

I’d kit it out in Ikea kallax and trofast (?) storage and probably rearrange the furniture placement a bit? How nice to have such a blank canvas though and a separate space for toys. I aspire to a playroom!

Our playroom is literally a dumping ground. It's used to store the toys. The dc just drag the toys they want to play with round the house to wherever I am.

I'm thinking of just taking it back off them and turning it into a bar

Haha love that idea! My kids are 5 and 7 so tend to just use it as a TV room. We have floor to ceiling Billy bookcases to the right of the door, and the window wall is at an angle, making furniture placement a pain. But I think paint is going to lift it hugely. Might get some Roman blinds to finish it off. We have Venetians there but not mad on them. A smaller sofa would probably help but it's not really in the budget atm.

Just for completion sake, here's our lockdown project! Delighted with how it turned out!
