Carpet on finance

Has anyone used Tapi Carpets or Flexiplay to purchase carpets before please? I really need new ones mine are almost 2 decades old and falling apart. Wasn't able to secure the finance with Carpetright so not sure if it'll be any easier with these two.

No sorry I haven't used those. Have you tried small local suppliers? We are recarpeting a room at a time (due to renovation) and have just bought a roll end of pure wool carpet to do a bedroom, bought new wool underlay online, the whole lot inc fitting is coming in at £250.
Could you do it in coordinating shades from roll ends too? Doing it a room at a time might make it possible to save for each room and also makes it easier in terms of moving furniture etc.

Thanks. I actually a room at a time could be a good solution tbh so thanks

Tapi carpets are Carpet right!

I second trying local independent places. I got a (decent quality) carpet plus underlay plus fitting for less than £120 for a bedroom. Go in with your measurements and look at roll ends.

I "third" going to look at a few places.
Carpets are so (relatively) cheap now - it seems daft to pay interest to get something you could manage without until you could save up.

I get that there are some things you do need instantly, but this doesn't sound like one of them.
