Nice kitchen bin with recycling section

Having our kitchen bin in the cupboard just isnt working any more so I'm looking for a non-offence bin with sections for 1-2 different types of recycling, ideally in black/chrome.

Anyone seen/have one they can recommend?

I've had Brabantia and Simple Human bins over the years. Both excellent and look good (well, as good as a bin can look...). The Brabantia was retired after the kitchen was redone but it has found a new lease of life in DD's student house and is still going strong despite being 25 years old.

Brabantia also do a bin on legs called Bo that looks more like a piece of furniture than a bin. I also quite like the Joseph & Joseph Totem bin that stacks.

JL sells all of them:

Love my Brabantia Bo. Got the 2 x 30l compartments and it works perfectly for us

We have that one, it's a dream. You need to keep lid clean to make sure the electrics for up and down. The 2 bottom sections are 14l.
We put recycling in the main bin, food in the small one and general waste in the other. It works a treat.

Re the Joseph Joseph.

I have one. 2 years old now. When you pull the bottom recycling bin out the weight and design of the surround means it often falls forwards. If, like me, you have a hard tile floor it means it will chip the enamel of the bin all along the edges and look bloody awful. Joseph Joseph will fob you off.

I’d go for a simple human one over it every time.
