I'd really like to buy a palm-type plant for my lounge and am considering a fake one instead of a real one but am worried that it will look too obviously fake. Can you recommend a good one to go for or should i stick to a real plant?

A few years ago we rented out our place for air BNB and the management company suggested for fake plants. I had no idea how expensive they could be!!! many home wares stores sell them, but for anything larger than a tiny succulent, and anything looking remotely real, they are pricey.
I personally prefer real plants. we live near a plant market, so can get them fairly cheap, but boot sales might be an option too. If you have a window with light, a real one would do well.

I bought a large fake plant from ikea that looks like palm trees and it was £35 few years ago and it looks really fake. I have 2 large real palm trees and I love them compare to the fake one lol
