Show me your Dining table

My dining table is very boring
I’m looking to jazz it up a bit
I think I need a nice centre piece, maybe with a bit of height
At Christmas I had a lovely vase filled with gorgeous baubles, so maybe something like that

I’ve got a shabby chic white table with chairs and bench
It’s got a blue runner, but I’ve just bought a gold one to replace it
And it’s got lovely gold place mats
It’s just a small 4 person table

Everything on it is nice and carefully chosen, but it’s just missing a bit of pizzaz!

Let me see yours?!

Trust me. You do not want to see my dining table! It's either in use for eating off / spreading food over or it's covered in craft debris. Perks of having a pre- schooler. I can only dream of the type of table you describe!

Not much on my table. In the picture I have a couple of fake orchid stems. Currently there is a lovely bunch of lilies. I prefer to keep it clear.

@WingBingo it looks lovely though with the colours from the chairs too!

I like to keep mine clear of clutter (though struggle) but it’s just white and the room is very white, I definitely need to add some textures and colours it feels like!

@nogooddeedgoesunpunished my lovely table has to be regularly scrubbed and the runner is hiding a lot of food stains and ‘colouring in’ that I can’t get out of the wood...
and does everyone in the house think it’s a place for allllll storage of everything you e used that day? yes, yes they do.

I’m hoping that if it stops feeling ‘unfinished’ that it will stop that. I’m hopelessly optimistic.

Thank you! Glass is good for being able to keep clean.

Nightmare for keeping it clear of smears.

I leave it like this all the time. Takes less than 5 mins to dust it all down.

@muddled I love that! I think this is my other option
If it’s not for a simple vase

Can I ask where you got it all?
It looks lovely and smart but also cosy

The wooden tray in the middle is from the range, different glass tea light holders. The two candlestick holders were tk maxx I think? Runner Etsy, placemats/coasters c&h. My mum gave me the charger plates, she got them in a charity shop but I think they were house of Fraser originally. We like to have a few things but a bold colour tying it all together. Always on a budget though!! I will only by something on sale/second hand etc.

Obviously I mean buy! Silly me!
