White bedroom furniture?

Think it would look elegant and light in new master bedroom - DH is horrified saying it'll "show all the marks". Compromise is grey - too drab? Would likely be bed, 2 bedside tables, 2 chest or drawers & run of fitted wardrobes.

Grateful for opinions.

We have light blue walls with grey undertones and all white furniture, rug, lampshades and curtains in the bedroom. The wardrobe is white but with one mirror door. I love it, very relaxing and calm and really light. Makes me happy every day.

I don't think it is that hard to keep looking good and we have a cat with dark hair. The headboard we have is 4 years old and still looks new so I really wouldn't worry.

I personally would not go with grey for furniture in bedroom but some people like it.

No not grey! Just my opinion but 80s teenagers bedroom springs to mind! White is lovely, we have white and it's fine, copes with regular water and make up spills no problem.

Thanks - we have wooden furniture currently and it stains easily - a few spilt tea episodes! Would think white would wipe over easier but will need to convince DH!

Have pieces of glass cut to go on the horizontal surfaces e.g. Bedside tables. Protects the surfaces and reflects the light. Take a pattern made of newspaper to your local glass merchant.

Can see you can get them with wooden tops so am on the look-out for decent quality ones in white ir maybe off white (not Argos)

I love white bedroom furniture, we have wardrobes and chests of drawers from M &S that we think look really nice. They also wipe over very easily if there's any tea spillage etc. I like grey furniture, but white keeps a bedroom feeling fresh and calm.

I had white bedroom furniture, looked lovely and fresh and bright. Don't recall making any marks on it.
Now I have dark wood for a change, love it too.
