Attic storage ideas

Hello ladies,

I need some advice from you all. Have you used smart storage to fit storage in your attic or how do you store things in attic. Our attic is fully converted, the previous owner used it as a spare bedroom. All my things are stored in the cardboard boxes and on the floor. If you can post some pics would be great too. Thanks in advance

A professional painter and decorator charges between £10. - £15 per hour .
So between £80 and £120 per day.

@notacooldad wow! Attic envy ours is just full of cobwebs.. we need to get some boarding down so we can actually keep stuff up there

It's amazing what a difference a couple of velux windows and some nice carpet makes!

@notacooldad did you replace existing windows or put them in yourselves? We don't have windows in ours at the moment. I imagine it would be a bit of a job to put them in!

Ours used to be a mess ( it is still but that because DS2 uses it so it's a different mess!)
A builder came in and put boards down and put the velux's in. We put a carpet down and an electrician came in and put sockets and lighting in The cupboards were an afterthought.
Originally I wanted it as a big room for my outdoor equipment. I needed somewhere to put my wet suit, caving gear and mountain stuff but DS2 claimed it for his room so we put a double bed, gaming chair and tv and his x box in.
