What colour wallpaper with dark wood furniture?

Im redecorating my living room, new sofa, wallpaper and curtains. Im keeping the furniture and the beige carpet.
What colour wallpaper do you suggest, everything I see, seems to have white furniture.

Shades of soft green would go with both carpet and furniture.

Thank you. I dont think my Oh will go for green, when we moved into our house, everything, even the garage door was green! We have nearly de greened everywhere!

What about an inky blue of some kind? (Paint rather than paper). This looks really sophisticated as well as warm and cosy, and goes really nicely with natural and darker wood tones, plus would go with the carpet and then you could add a sofa in pale grey, cream, dusky pink, or in a bolder jewel tone.

Perhaps, although this isn't always the case with this colour. It can look warm and cosy. And the lighter furniture, flooring and sofa also break it up, so it ends up simply blending into the background and making your furniture and accessories look good iyswim.
