Kitchen wall cupboard lights/downlighters

I was just wondering if anyone has bought any kitchen cabinet lights recently. I have just had a new kitchen fitted and the small LED lights we were going to fit at the bottom underneath the cabinets throw out next to no light at all - they certainly wouldn’t light any area to do anything effective. Has anyone bought any lights which actually light the countertops? Thanks very much

We have LED strips all the way along the back edge of the wall units. It is a really good light to work with. We had warm before but have just changed to cool white which is much much better.
