Bedding sets for day beds- Help!

Considering getting a day bed- possibly one with a trundle- as the bed/sofa hybrid my little spare room-cum-study needs. I'm drawing a blank on bedding though, what do you actually put in them and where can I buy it?

Our day bed has throws and cushions on it day to day. If someone is sleeping on it then that's when the bedding goes on

Thank you! I was hoping that would be an option! Do you have a bottom sheet or anything on it all the time? I'm guessing normal single bedding will work?

I keep a mattress protector on it under the throws and yes I use single bedding on it when its being used
