Where to get a good tablecloth?

Hi all,

Our dining/kitchen table is a wooden table that needs to be kept covered for day to day use.

Ideally I want to find a nice tablecloth that is wipeable but not too ‘plasticy’.

Please can anyone give recommendations??
I know John Lewis do some but their reviews aren’t great.

Many thanks!!

I only cover mine at Christmas but got a lovely one from Simply Tablecloths. It's teflon coated so completely wipeable but much more fabric like rather than plasticky.

Thank you, just had a look. Do you know if it was a teflon one?

I use oilcloth for day to day. I got them from dunelm. Proper linen ones, I've got a great white cotton M&S one.

Acrylic coated tablecloths are always a great option, they're completely wipeable, look just like fabric and are machine washable too unlike oilcloth or PVC. We've had some great tablecloths from Franclaire Wipe Clean Tablecloths

Don't listen to the John Lewis reviews. They are written by people who were expecting an oilcloth tablecloth. The ones they describe as cotton wipeable feel like real cotton and drape nicely but are water repellent. I put mine in the washing machine every now and again to bring it up new (careful though, as it does shrink the first time).
