Apparently everyone has a sudden grudge against their rectangular/square mirrors. Perfectly round mirrors only, thank you. Are all the non round ones hiding in the attic until they're fit to be seen again?

Ottomans instead of coffee tables, with trays sitting on them pretending to be a stable surface for coffee cups and snacks.

Grey everything from the walls up, and those ashy cool toned floorboards that complement the grey much better than warm toned boards, but indicating we're all going to be living in grey hell for ages yet.

And as much external glass as the homeowners can afford. If the back of your house is not a fishbowl then who even are you?! And if you can't afford to have at least one open to the public wall, just remove the separating wall/doors between your house and conservatory for a refreshing drop in temperature in winter and an assist in boiling you all to death in summer.

I'm starting to covet magnolia, and those houses that are half underground and dark all day...

We had all white in our last rented house abroad, but we had barrel arched brick ceilings with beams and vintage terracotta floor tiles, so didn't need a colour on the wall.

I loathe teal and deep pinks as the house previous to that was lots of dark teals and it was badly lit, so that didn't help. One of the rooms was 5 differing tones of deepish pink which was a nightmare when it came to touching up before we moved out.

I'm now back in Cornwall, where for the moment, magnolia rules, as the house was let whilst we were away. I need to live in it for a while again before I start to mess about with colour. the ceilings are far lower here, so can't do anything too dark. Might play with textiles as opposed to wall colours.

I don't like teals or pink either. I like primary colours and natural colours.

Balls. I love navy but I don’t want my house to look all 2019 in a few years time.

It’s is not all sapphire salute and mustard now? Lots of winter princess colours bright pink, blue and teal in a range of different fabrics.
