No from me, look like you'd find them in a nineties holiday chalet

Lunaballoon · 19/12/2019 10:47

I like them but then I love geometric patterns and anything retro!

manicmij · 19/12/2019 11:28

Difficult to really gauge not seeing whole area. They seem to be too near the ceiling, and in the picture when closed are too busy. May look better when hanging opened. The overall impression is they are overbearing for small table and chairs.

They are too close to ceiling. Whole house being repainted so will move rails when that is being done

I haven't taken them down yet as DH seems to like them and he is usually hyper critical

not my taste

MentalHealth101 · 19/12/2019 14:49

The second photo you sent looks nice. Looks nice from far

Bluntness100 · 19/12/2019 14:50

No from me too, they are quite dull and look a bit cheap looking. Loads of lovely curtains out there, sorry op, these aren't one of them.

dimdarkashian · 19/12/2019 16:05

Well they certainly weren't cheap

OP posts:
dimdarkashian · 19/12/2019 16:06

Maybe I should go for something plainer

Bluntness100 · 19/12/2019 16:30

Yes, something, with a nicer pattern, better colours, and in a better material would work.

dimdarkashian · 19/12/2019 16:36

How do you even know what the material is bluntness? You are always rude on every thread. Pathetic keyboard warrior

I think the first photo you took didn’t do them justice honestly. They look quite modern and to be honest adds a bit of pattern to your decor. I think aft
We ironing them out and having them drape nicely they would look nice.

But if you’re uncertain enough to post about it and ask then it’s probably not right for you.

Do you like them OP?

Ocomeocomeimaginaryfleas · 19/12/2019 17:14

They look nice open actually, probably because the pattern is broken up. Closed it's a bit overwhelming for me. I suspect they look nicer in real life than in the photos.

Chewbecca · 19/12/2019 17:17

What colour will the re decoration be? Do you want to choose that before committing to a curtain pattern & colour?
I'd like more colour personally.

No, very 70s
