What furniture for kids bedroom? Stuva?

I've got 3 kids in 2 bedrooms and they dont have enough storage. One room has a massive pax which is impractical and empty, mostly used for storing out of season clothes.
The other has a large but stuffed chest of drawers and no hanging space.
Both have nowhere to store toys.

Both largish rooms with 2 single beds in. Room 2 has a bookshelf. Room 1 needs one.

Both are also going to get a repaint.

Any suggestions or sources of information? Pinterest is rubbish because it is all poncy and not real life. Also grey.

I have ikea furniture. not special but it does the job, and if you prefer brighter colours rather than white you can paint it (which we did for bookcases etc). it also is worth looking on gumtree if you see an item that you like but is more expensive, as you might be able to source it second hand x

oh, and look for under-bed storage like this. it would provide a place for toys.

Stuva is amazing. All my 3 have it in various combinations because it is so good and flexible. That plus micke desks.

Yay - some replies! thanks very much

Flexible is what I want. and hopefully can hold a lot in a way that is easy to get to for the kids.
Their rooms are always a mess at the moment and it is because they dont really have anywhere to store toys etc

Why is the pax impractical? There are lots of internal systems for it. Could reconfigure it to have clothes stored towards the top and lights and drawers and/shelves below that the kids can reach. And then you're freeing up space in the rooms too.

Its really big and they can't reach the clothes if they are stored higher up so we only use it for out of season clothes. The one we have has 2 hanging rails which only one child can reach the lower so it is basically empty or just piled with boxes.
