Help me choose a colour

[Twospaniels]

Just had a new kitchen and don’t know what colour to paint the walls.

The room is rectangular with a window at one short side and a back door (fully glazed) in the middle of one long side. Units are also along both those sides so paint will be on one short side and one long side.

Floor is charcoal grey large 600mm tiles. Cabinets are mid grey, oak worktops and white back boards with a bit of silver sparkle in them.

I don’t want white or grey, but not really bright either.

Island is paler grey (pebble) and will have a granite top which we have kept from our previous kitchen.

Blush pink to warm it up a bit?

We just did up the sitting room with grey sofas and did the walls in blush pink. It looks lovely but I don’t want to repeat it in the kitchen.

Baby blue?

Getting fed up of microwave meals, but we did eat out tonight!

Baby blue sounds nice, I’ll get a sample pot and try it out.

Nutmeg white Dulux

A burnt orange will look nice! Contrast with the grey. Nice kitchen OP.

Love your kitchen. I’d go with an oyster/mushroom colour personally.

Lovely kitchen I second a pale mushroom colour, blends well with grey/blue or pink.

Yellow? Nice with grey. I like the orange idea that someone posted too.

Farrow and Ball, James White or a mix from B&Q

We’ve gone with Dulux Violet White. It’s being done today so maybe I’ll get a pic for you later.

So we went with violet white and are really pleased with it.
