Christmas Fairy lights

I've been trying to find a way of sticking icicle lights to outdoor upvc fascia this Christmas has anyone successfully done this ? I'm hoping someone has the awnser !

3m hooks usually work, and you can get clear ones.

Thanks we tried those last year and they didn't stick, ok at first then first but of rain and thy all came down. Have you used these outside ? If so I'll try again
