Calling furniture mavens - Colourful cloakroom vanity unit

We are getting the loft done and there’s a little shower room up there. So far the plan is to put a small wall mounted basin in there, but there’s zero storage currently apart from a shelf. Great for displaying posh soap but where do you stash the tampons? I was thinking a small bright coloured vanity unit under the sink but I can’t find anything I like AND that fits.

Please can the MN furniture mavens help? Criteria as follows:

Max width 70cm
Max depth 40cm
Max height 100cm
Ideally with drawers but I’d take a cupboard.
The shelf is made of birch, so I’d like the unit to be birch too or a paintable surface so I can spray it a fun colour.
Basin can be fitted on top or wall mounted if the unit is short and can be slotted under.

I like the idea of bright locker (was looking at this mustardmade.co.uk/collections/the-shorty/products/the-shorty-in-berry-to-the-left but it’s too deep). I’m not scared of a bit of painting but I don’t want to spend loads on something then spend hours hacking it to actually be what I want. Please help!!!

Bear in mind anything that sits under a basin will need a hole cut in the top for the waste pipe/trap. Unless it’s really short so clears the trap, but that wouldn’t look great and wouldn’t be very useful for storage. So personally I’d avoid any cabinet made of metal.

Have a look at Harvey George and Parker Howley - they can make vanities to your dimensions and paint them in a wide choice of colours.

Just re read about the birch - I expect they can make in birch too, especially Parker Howley, they seem able to bespoke anything. Not cheap but not that expensive for what they’re offering.

Thanks for those. Definitely some possibilities on there, the office cabinet would be a good hack if it was narrower, shall have a poke about and see if I can find a one door version.

Finally - found these guys on ebay who do made to order birch ply cabinets.
