Doing up teens room - Bed with storage for tiny room needed (single or double / small double)

I'm looking for new furniture for our smallest bedroom (teen age 13 yrs). The room is 2.5m x 2.6m

I am thinking a single / small double or double depending on how much storage in underneath. I want real draws etc not ones that are to be accessed once a quarter for duvet storage etc.

Something like:
this
Or
This, but it it too kid like for a 13yr old?

Then I need to fit in hanging space and a comfy chair too
Any thoughts/suggestions?

i think i would go for a bed like this so that you have more room, then a pad like this on a plain white chair, which you could tie in with a fluffy throw over the bed. hanging space wise, you could get a hanging rail like this to save space. so if you walk in, the bed is on your left up against the wall which the door is on, the hanging rail is straight in front of you and the chair is in the bottom right corner?

We got a cabin bed from Argos for ds (13), which has drawers and a wardrobe and a desk bit under it. I don’t recommend it - it arrived with holes drilled in the wrong places and took DP and his brother hours and hours to build it. It’s holding up though, six months down the line. I think the current version is called Jackson.

Would an ottoman bed work? DD has the IKEA malm double and has loads stored under there.

thanks all! I am still undecided but giving the options to DD to decide with me.

My son had a kallax bed and it’s turned out great!

DD2 had a high sleeper bed with a small wardrobe and desk underneath, it actually dominated the room and made it look smaller. We got rid of it and got her an Ikea Malm Single with two drawers underneath, a narrow single wardrobe and a stand-alone desk. Looks much better now.

We got our smallest bedroom fitted out by Starplan in black and cream gloss that was quite a long time ago and it's still in good condition. So would recommend them especially to maximise the space

We have a high bed with desk and wardrobe underneath and while she was tiny it was great but now it's just not working
& Sweetkitty I think you are right it dominates the room.
