Decor to match checks

I have found some grey check curtains that I have fallen in love with!
Problem is... what colour/wall paper do you put with checks?
I don't want the room to be too grey and boring so fancied a bit of a feature wall but don't know what wallpaper would match without clashing?.... or a nice warm/not too dark colour maybe??
