Hillary blinds

I am looking to get some shutters for my house mainly on two large bay windows a french door and two square windows.

Is this going to break the bank? Has anyone had a good experience with measuring and fitting their own. Is it a lot cheaper?

My Hilary quote for 1 bay window was just under £2k! I was hoping for around £1250.

I'd find a more local trade to do it. Hillary's quoted us over twice the price we paid elsewhere for shutters (which turned out great)

Hillary’s is extortionately expensive. Try to find a local company.

They will always drop the price but you can do better with local companie

Has anybody had John Lewis to quote for shutters? Or can recommend a company that covers the Yorkshire area please? Thanks!

We managed to get Hillary’s to massively reduce the price (blinds) 👍🏼

I found their after service shocking. They had a delay on material then the salesman/fitter decided he would only come when convenient to him. When one broke I didn’t even bother going to them and got a local independent company in who repaired it for a small price and have since used them when changing designs.

Our Hillary’s roller blinds cost half what a local company quoted. There was no high-pressure, the man who came was fast, efficient and helpful.
