Matt white kitchens - are they a nightmare to keep clean?

Just about to order a white kitchen. DH prefers matte finish but I’m a bit worried that the one in the showroom looked a bit grubby. I’m not the world’s keenest housekeeper and we do cook a lot so ease of cleaning is a priority. Would gloss be easier to keep clean?

We had Matt before and wasn’t great. We had our kitchen done 3 years ago so we went for dulux easy care and is the best paint ever! Easy to clean and just wipe off any marks.

White kitchens get grubby quickly.

We inherited a gloss one and haven't bothered to change as we're moving soon. It gets grubby very easily.

A wooden kitchen looks so much nicer, easier to clean than matte plastic and won't date.

I had a Matt white kitchen in my first house when I had a house full of students (4 guys and me) we weren't house proud to say the least however it still looked good and when I deep cleaned the house to sell it they came up immaculate
I did however have dark worktops, not sure I would have had anything pale.

Sorry I forgot it was the cupboard lol. We have white gross cupboard fitted 3years ago and no problem I just use microfibre cloth to wipe the marks. My friend has grey gloss and hers shows the marks more than mine.

We had one from Magnet and it was fine.

I wanted white, but went with matt grey in the end. Spent some time today scrubbing crayon drawing off it thanks to turning my back for 30 seconds. Would have been a lot worse on white.

I had a pale kitchen and hated how grubby it looked all the time. White worktop really stressed me out too

White matt is easier than white gloss but both are better than darker colours. I think you will be okay, op.
