Please help me make a decision! Need to order sofas today! And I'm so stuck on the best colour,. We are going for Next sofas so they have a good range of colours, I'm rubbish at interior design, Carpet is more beige than I thought it was going to be, what colour scheme or things would you do to this currently boring room to give it the wow factor! Hit me with your ideas!! Grin

I can't believe this is causing me so much stress, i have 12 now coming for Xmas so really need to pull a finger out Shock

My favourite is the the pale one.

fairislecable · 09/11/2019 19:41

Don’t have a dark one we had dark green and it literally sucks the colour out of the room (and appears black).

We tried an interior designer and she said “do you really need to keep those sofas?”

I like the lightest bottom right
.

fairislecable · 09/11/2019 19:42

Sorry not the lightest but I like the one bottom right!

Bluesheep8 · 11/11/2019 19:59

Our sofas are v similar to the bottom right swatch. There is a tiny hint of pale blue in ours so I use that as an accent colour. We have a copy of f and b skimming stone on the walls, will try to post a pic

I like the darkest or the lightest! The others merge too much into the carpet. But to be honest, it’s a nice room, and whatever you
choose will look great. They all fairly neutral colours and you’ll be adding in the impact/contrast with cushions etc.

BigBairyHollocks · 11/11/2019 21:40

Bottom right-will stop everything looking so grey and you could put other colours with it of any shade. You better speed it up if wanted to get it for Christmas, what is there delivery time for next?

Bluntness100 · 11/11/2019 21:43

Does it need to be those colours? I'd go for something like an olive green.

hiredandsqueak · 11/11/2019 21:57

I'd have a sofa with some colour in it. Beige is nice and neutral base so any colour really would compliment it. If you add grey you are adding another base colour really.

Do you have DCs and or pets?

NightsOfCabiria · 12/11/2019 01:28

I went into Next today and they had no sofas available before December 30th, despite stickers everywhere saying ‘available December.’

Tojigornot · 12/11/2019 01:46

Darkest or lightest. The other 4 will just merge into a sea of nothingness.

Yorkshiremum17 · 12/11/2019 07:39

I'd go for a contrasting color, really make it stand out

LoobyLou2709 · 13/11/2019 12:52

Thank you all so much for your replies! Sorry didn't realise I had any until now, I think we have narrowed it down to the bottom right, and then add the colour in cushions and furnishings, would love olive sofas but not sure I'm brave enough! Yes we have 2 DC a car and dog (dog doesn't go on the sofas)

Our local Next looked on their system and said it was a 5 day delivery! So that took the pressure off a bit, but you have worried me slightly now, so going to make sure they are ordered today! Thank you so much for all of your help, I'm terrible at making decisions!
