Hi,
Just looking for advice on what colour to put on the walls and whether you think some walls would be better lighter/darker.
The wood is oak and has yellow/orange tones to it.
It's a period cottage (listed) and the old fashioned look suits the outside of our home.
Please help!

I would like a pale blue. One such as borrowed light from farrow and ball, or a similar shade from elsewhere.

And definitely not dark. The units already are.

Thankyou. I was also thinking of blue. And you're right, the room is east facing and the cottage style windows and thick walls mean that the lights are usually in after 10.30 am.
I will check out that colour
