DD is having a bedroom make over for her 9th birthday and we’ve finally narrowed down the colour scheme. Can anyone recommend a green paint similar to this one? Preferable Dulux, Crown, Johnstone’s, F&B that I can purchase locally.

Ha, I've been looking at F&B's Green Smoke - looks similar.

@swedishedith that looks very close. I'll go and get a sample tomorrow.

Not one of the brands you mentioned, but Little Greene's 'Pleat' looks similar.

That’s a lovely colour but (gulp) £80 for 5 litres! DD’s room is large so I’d need a lot of paint.

I'm pretty sure it's Green Smoke. If it's any consolation it's great paint to work with and we only needed a second coat on a couple of areas as it went on so well.

In terms of paint quality and therefore number of coats, F&B, Little Greene etc often don't work out much more than Dulux trade paint. Or you could have it colour matched.

I use a lot of F&B colours but colour matched at Johnstones / Leyland - the lovely chalky finish isn’t practical when your kids can’t turn on a light without touching the surrounding wall! I’ll get a sample of Green Smoke today and see if they can colour match Little Green.

You can get both Farrow and Ball AND Little Greene mixed up in Johnstones paint I believe which I would definitely recommend. Bit cheaper and I think the paint is easier to use.

@givemeallthecoffee that's really useful to know. I need to get the paint on the walls quickly before DD changes her mind again!

I always get them colour matched except once, when we did use LG in a small area. It was lovely paint and didn't need as many coats.

Love this colour! Are people going for matte or soft sheen these days? I found matte showed any marks really badly and never wiped that well.

I like the Pleat as well but it looks greyer onscreen. Someone linked to this on another thread which is similar.
