Older Character Property Decor - pls inspire me with pics!

Hi all,

We currently live in a half decent 1980’s home which is decorated in modern style. We are buying an older property with a little more character, chimney breasts, bay windows etc!

I’ve always lived in new builds or 1980’s build houses. After some lovely decor and furniture inspiration pls!!

I second Period Living magazine. Also Pinterest has been useful in the past, but I'm finding now the images and styles are getting a bit 'samey'.

The other thing to do is to live with the house for a few months if possible before making big changes. Get used to how the light comes in (likely to be darker than your 80s house), learn its quirks etc.
