Grey and white kitchen help!

Hi, I'm hoping someone can inspire me as I've been googling for too long and just don't know. We are getting a new kitchen with light grey shaker style units and quartz marble effect worktops. Flooring is a greyish oak so all quite grey. I'm having trouble deciding on two things:

  1. Paint colour. White or inject some colour?
  2. Pendant lights over our island. Again, do I add in some colour here? If so what? Any ideas or inspirational photos would be gratefully received! Many thanks

Your new kitchen sounds like it will look lovely, modern and fresh. If it is a small or dark room I would definitely go for a white/ off white wall paint. If its a big room with lots of light you could have a darker colour on walls. Personally I would go for white walls and add colour with the lights (you can get some nice glass pendants in bronze, blue etc) and have the same colour in accessories around the kitchen. You could always add some plants to give it a lift if there is space.

My kitchen is grey and white.
We painted walls in white mist. Used black and white prints on wall. Mustard as an accent colour

This color scheme looks good on kitchen furniture. Cold colors are very suitable for this room. Regarding marble, I want to say that you have a taste. Marble countertops will fit here marble.com/ct just fine. Marble in the kitchen is not only expensive and beautiful but and very practical and sturdy material.
