Something to liven up grey-on-grey kitchen

I have a lovely new kitchen.

I have just realised it needs livening up. A bit of warm colour would not go amiss.

I like those paintings of fruits and vegetables you can get, but don't want to spend 900 euros for the kind of painting I adore.

How can I keep to a budget - prints? I don't have a lot of wall to cover, just one patch about 80cm in length.

High ceiling.

Will post a picture as soon as the kitchen guys leave.

Any suggestions in the interim?

Thanks!

Bright accessories help - eg kitchen towels / those le crueset utensil holders etc.

I like minted.com
It's American, so takes a little longer to get here, but they have some beautiful prints at great prices

Thank you very much!!

Off to have a look at minted and TK Maxx/homesense.

Have quite bright tea towels, and will be getting some new casserole dishes etc soon. Can't buy Le Creuset as have rheumatoid arthritis in wrists and hands so cannot lift them! But will buy lighter equivalents.

Thank you very much!

Try Etsy too, a lot of young up and coming artists post their work on there. Try small galleries as well.

I have a silver grey wall with a not too deep wall unit on there and a Mary Ann Rodgers print. It is one of her Rooster pictures but there are lots of others animal and flower pictures. You might find something you like there. I can't do links sorry but if you google her you will get her website.

Have a look at Ixxi online. Pick one from their range or send a picture and they will make a poster of it.

Try these prints. Absolutely lovely. I have some of her cups too.
