Where to put sofa?

See my hilariously bad diagram of living room- green line is window, blue line (next to window) is front door and blue line opposite is double doors to kitchen, pink is stairs and fireplace. Struggling with all these doors where to put sofa? I currently have a corner sofa that blocks the under stairs cupboard and a sofa underneath the window, tv is in the corner by window. Buying new furniture but not sure what to buy?

I am not sure of dimensions/sizes on your diagram but could you put a sofa opposite the fireplace, with its back to the stairs, and then 2 armchairs facing each other with one by the front door and the other by the doors going into kitchen? Would that work?
