Carpet colours

I am busy redecorating a bedroom and turning it into a workroom/spare bedroom. Soon, I will have to go to the carpet shop to choose a new carpet but haven't a clue what to go for.

The walls are F&B white tie and the furniture and woodwork white. It gets full sun in the morning, and is dark in the evening.

Will grey look too cold?

You could go for a warmer toned grey?
I find it really difficult to choose carpet colours too, will have to do the same once we have (finally!) redecorated the bedrooms.

Yes, I think you are right. I can't think of another suitable colour.

I usually have a good idea of what I want, but am trying hard to make this as neutral a room as possible which is harder than I thought.
