Magnetic paint

Does it work? DS has a small plywood door in his room which I want to turn into a noticeboard. I like the idea of using magnets rather than pins and wondered if I could paint it with magnetic paint?

Thanks @lilibel, so if I did several coats, only stuck on pieces of paper and used strong magnets it should work?
