Dulux Egyptian cotton, dining room

Our kitchen is Egyptian cotton and we have an archway into our dining/ casual living room which we are about to decorate.
We are going for a grey sofa but I really dont want to do the walls grey too and it's quite a dark room. Do you think the Egyptian cotton would work in a living space? When I google it, it mostly comes up with kitchen, halls or bedrooms. And finally, do you think it would go with a grey sofa and dining chairs?

Help please. It's being painted asap.

My friends lounge is Egyptian cotton and I copied it in my bedroom based on how gorgeous her lounge is!

I have it in my lounge and I love it. I think it looks great against white doors and skirting.

It also seems to look more grey or more beige depending on the light and what other colours you have in the room. In the lounge we have grey furniture, so it looks more grey. We also have it in my sons bedroom which has a beige carpet and it looks more beige. It's great.

We have Egyptian Cotton in our living room and it doesn't look grey to me in there. HTH

I’ve used Egyptian Cotton Easycare in the hall, it needed two coats over Almond White.Looks beautiful & classy.
