This is a colour I'm considering for my lounge. Any ideas as to what shade it might be?

Can you identify this colour please ?

Hello, that sort of greige/mushroom could be Elephant’s Breath but that paint is a complete chameleon so you must test it in your house to be sure it’s what you want.

I also reckon it could be Elephant's Breath. That's a Farrow & Ball shade, but B&Q will mix the same shade up for you for about a third of the price.

Floopily · 20/09/2019 20:35

I also vote Elephants Breath we have it in our bathroom and it looks pretty much exactly the same colour

Knittedfairies · 20/09/2019 20:38

Egyptian Cotton is similar.

Jjbay · 20/09/2019 20:40

Natural hessian dulux is this sort of colour

CallmeAngelina · 20/09/2019 20:41

I would say that Egyptian Cotton and Natural Hessian are both paler. I have all three in various rooms and Elephant's Breath is definitely deeper and more mushroomy.

Jjbay · 20/09/2019 20:42

Oh think it’s slightly more beige actually

could be cornforth white?

stormageddmum · 20/09/2019 21:04

Close to Egyptian cotton - here's a good insta account where the whole house is done in Egyptian Cotton. It's lovely and warm instagram.com/bobbins.at.no.18?igshid=1wuqkruoo6ttz

I think it's a fraction light for elephants breath - it could be, but I don't think so. I think it may be slimming stone - another F&B colour.

Namaste6 · 20/09/2019 22:19

Skimming stone!! Wonky right thumb!

TitilatedOcelot · 20/09/2019 22:37

F&B Jitney?

I thought skimming stone too. I'll post a pic of my lounge painted in a copy of it

user1471530109 · 21/09/2019 07:42

I'm sat in my Egyptian cotton living room and I'd say it's v v v close.

tisonlymoi · 21/09/2019 11:57

Thank you for all the help with suggestions. Going crazy trying to decide on a colour. I'm liking Jitney but looking for close Dulux equivalent as I don't want FB. Has anyone got any ideas regarding a close substitute as I'm totally hopeless with colour!

We have a dulux colour a bit like that painted all over our downstairs called 'Almost Oyster'.

QforCucumber · 21/09/2019 12:05

We have dulux pebble shore and it looks very similar. I find natural hessian too pinky

justaweeone · 21/09/2019 15:37

Think Johnstone paint can colour match
Or if you are near a Brewers they can colour match their brand Albany
