Can you put perfect fit blinds on uPVC windows with vents

All of my windows which are openable have window vents at the top (see photo). I was thinking of perfect fit blinds for these windows. However 6mm of space is required between the glass of the window and anything on the frame. When closed there probably is more than 6mm between the glass and the vent but when the vents are open it is closer to 4mm. I could just keep the vents closed but that seems a shame.

Anyone else have perfect fit blinds with uPVC windows with a vent?

In the first attachment photo the vents is closed (in an up position). In the second it is open (in a down position).

Thanks

I'd just get Hillary's blinds round and see what they say. They don't give you the hard sell so worth it even if you don't intend to buy from them

Thank you hairydogmummy but I tried to book them to come around and they do not operate in Northern Ireland - where I live.

not entirely sure what exactly Perfectfit blinds are, but I have a big vent on most of the windows and got a no drill/ clip on black out roller blind for the bedroom and it works fine, although as you say the vent must be closed,

also i think it is was a longer window it might not work so well as the roll of fabric would be fatter at the top

mine came from amazon so it might be worth trying from there if your windows are fairly standard, then if the blind proved to be unsuitable they'd surely take it back.

Oh no! Could do with someone on here who fits them or something to look at your pic!

Do the perfect fit ones not sit between the frame and the glass rather than on the frame itself?

Yes, they can be fitted to windows with a vent.

They deliver to NI.

I'm no expert but it kinda looks like your frame won't take perfect fit blinds (irrespective of the vent). They fit on the inside and the fitting is a metal bracket which slides between the beading and the glass.. do your windows have beading? May just be bad pictures and I can't see it properly..

Thank you everyone, I’ve looked into the beading issue. For perfect fit blinds you need internal beading which has been sealed with glazing gasket not glazing tape....I don’t know what gasket is but I think I have tape. Whatever it is, it is a small strip of a very fine film of black material that I assumed was beading - not sealant 🥵

Blinds 2Go have replied to my emailed query that was along similar lines to this post and included the photo.
They say perfect fit blinds probably won't work but not because of vents or beading but because the edges of the frame 'look too steep'. They have suggested Easifit blinds. However my reservation with these is that I don't think you can have that half way house of perfect fit venentia blinds whereby they can lie horizontal and a lot of light comes through.
But thanks for the replies and help with moving me forward on the blinds issue
