I'm having my kitchen revamped and having silestone quartz chrome worktops - mid grey sparkle.
I have today found a dining table that I love but it's white marble with the grey vein as per below.
Do you think that would go okay with the quartz worktop or is mixing stones a no no?

I wouldn't to be honest. Table is lovely by the way! Depends on size of kitchen but we went for part wood and part quartz for the worktops. Breaks it up and gives more options for other surfaces. If you're having all quartz, I'd get a dark wood topped table? Metal legs maybe?

I think they'd go well together. The grey veins in the marble will pick up the grey in your worktop. All grey would be a bit overwhelming and the marble will lighten.

I love the table too!

Oooh conflicting opinions.
I've got a walnut table at the moment so fancied a change as moving from wood work too.
I can't believe I can't get a plain white ceramic table.
But yes I do think the bit of grey on the table would pick up nicely with the worktops.

What colour are your cabinets going to be?

MrsPerfect12 · 26/08/2019 20:18

white gloss, they exist already, I'm only replacing worktop, flooring and furniture as in my dining table and chairs. Ripping up the gloss white tiles (nightmare to keep) changing out for Amtico concrete effect tiles in a light grey colour.

You could always hold off on the table till you've got the worktops done and then see what you think
