I've just redecorated the living room and I'm pretty pleased - looks so much better. We can't afford to replace the tatty carpet straightaway so I was thinking of getting a rug.
I've seen a gorgeous white & grey rug in Homesense that I thought would look lovely.
DH pulled a very dubious face - he pointed out that we have two very active DC (not babies but both love charging around the garden so = mud) and one dog. Thinks a mainly white rug would be lunacy.
Would I be very foolish? Or is there some sort of protector I can use?
(We tried the removing shoes thing when the carpet was new. everyone cheerfully ignores this now
