Crown Paint - Aftershow

Has anyone used/tried this? I think it’s a new(ish) colour from them, it’s classed as a dark grey but looking at it, it looks like it has a blue undertone to it. I’ve been searching for a dark inky blue, that’s not F&B (too costly) and is reasonably priced. This Crown paint comes in two finishes, a standard mat emulsion & an Easyclean, which sounds great, a wipeable dark colour, as the paint I have on the wall now is just a pita, any slight knock & it leaves a mark. Will have to get a tester & fingers crossed the colour will be just what I’m hoping for!

Update for anyone interested, I’ve used it & have to say I’m impressed with the colour, it’s like a deep grey with a blue undertone, it’s not a million miles away from F&B Stiffkey (I’ve used this before) and looking at pictures of F&B Downpipe I’d say it’s probably a mix of that as well if you were to compare them. It only took one coat, however I was applying it over a dark only blue to begin with. It’s got a really nice finish to it. As in terms of ‘toughness’ I don’t know, I’ve hung a few of my shelves up (they’re only small things) and there’s no knock marks that I can see. So yes I’m sticking with this, it’s half the price of F&B & imo looks just as nice.

That should say ‘dark inky blue’ not dark only blue 😂
