Fabric websites?

I've posted this in Crafts as well as it's a bit of both!!

Currently redoing living room from beige/brown colour scheme to greys/blues.

Have a large brown footstool & had a genius moment that I could recover it to go with new decor. I'm quite 'crafty' & love a project so happy to give it a bash.

So I need some lovely new upholstery fabric - any good recommendations for online suppliers?

www.fabworks.co.uk
This place has great fabric at good prices. Customer service always been good. Way more stuff in the shop than online if you are near enough to visit.

Designerwallpapers and Jane Clayton are both good. I am also loving vintage kimono fabrics off eBay for soft furnishings.

Can recommend www.terrysfabrics.co.uk. Lovely people too if you ever need any help.

Moodfabrics .com
Spoonflower .com

This is my favourite curtain/upholstery shop ... I have bought fabric for 15 very big Roman blinds recently.

Excellent customer service and when I needed a bigger piece than they had they sourced one for me.

Delivered next day with APC.

But surely most of these are not upholstery fabric suppliers? Rather than curtain or general fabric? There is a big difference.

I'm looking myself. John Lewis is good, though expensive.

If you want your upholstery fabric to be fire retardant you can use a liner if it isn’t already Lying. The difference between upholstery vs drape fabric is generally just the wear factor.

If you search ‘upholstery’ on my link you will find tons of fabrics.

Clarke and Clarke, amazing range and not expensive
