Duck and Down Duvets

I thought I had place this question last night so please forgive me if it does appear twice! I want to buy a double duvet and wonder if anyone has bought new) on line and if the products were as good as John Lewis, M&S, Dunelm? On line does look cheaper but I have no idea of the quality.

I buy mine online from Soak and Sleep and their quality is pretty good?

BlueBilled - You have opened my eyes. I had no idea that some birds were plucked whilst still alive!! I thought the feathers were a by-product.

I have a Soak & Sleep and it's fine and I'm happy with it but IMO it's not as light and fabulous as my John Lewis one (we got a bigger bed so I had to buy a bigger duvet and couldn't justify the JL prices). I think there is a noticeable difference but the Soak and Sleep are still good quality and great value.
