(How) Do you reach to paint your landing?

Just looking at my hallway today and thinking it needs repainting. We usually get a decorator to do it, but funds are tight at the moment.
Do you paint yours yourself? How do you reach the high bit opposite the landing? The thought of putting a ladder diagonally across the landing/ stairwell scares me!
Is there a secret that I don't know about?

If you have the ceiling and walls the same colour a roller on a long handle might help?

Extendable paint roller/pad/brush? Although not sure about doing the edges

Followed by a brush on a stick to cut in with.

My stairwell is 25ft high. The decorator is the only option, as I'm not good at height. And staging.
