I'm looking for a unit for my hallway which combines coat hooks, shelving, and a flat surface for keeping keys, phone etc on.

Something like these:

www.wayfair.co.uk/furniture/pdp/17-stories-knutsford-3-piece-hallway-set-fint3784.html

www.wayfair.co.uk/furniture/pdp/rebrilliant-burlison-hallway-unit-daal1083.html

Neither are quite right as I don't need shoe storage (already have that elsewhere) and I was thinking open shelving rather than cupboards.

I like the idea of having a mirror incorporated, but it's not crucial.

I'm envisaging maybe 6 coat hooks - 3 up high and 3 lower down to encourage kids to hang up their coats; shelving low down, maybe with baskets for hats, scarves, gloves, and somewhere for school bags to go; and a flat surface for keys, DH's wallet, spare change etc.

Budget is up to about £150.

What are other furniture companies I can try? I have looked at IKEA, Next, John Lewis, and Habitat, plus a general web search, but can't find anything closer to what I'm thinking of other than the ones I have linked to.

have you tried an antique shop? It might be too old fashioned for your taste but my boyfriend picked up a gorgeous oak coatstand/umbrella stand/shelving from one for about £50. Or maybe somewhere like The Cotswold Company or Scotts of Stow - the ones which are in those irritating pamphlets that come with the TV Guide Grin

There are a couple of antique shops near me, so I'll keep my eyes open.

Thanks for the other furniture company suggestions Smile
