Paint colours for internal bathroom with beige suite

I’m planning on redoing the bathroom in a few years, but in the meantime am struggling to think what to do with it. The walls in the rest of the flat are being painted white, but I worry that white will make the beige look dingier.

The tiles above sink and around the bath are also beige. Tiles round the bath only go about half way up the wall.

One option might be to paint the walls, and maybe also the tiles, a mid to light blue.

Thought, experiences, help, please?

This mirror from Ikea will be going above the sink, so that will be another light source in addition to ceiling light.

Maybe try your best to colour match the beige - grab a load of beige paint cards and see which is closest, looking for whether it's a warm or cool. Then when you've got a paint name, look for inspiration on silicon/Valdosta/Pinterest. Something like this for instance...

The beige is very close to Valspar’s cocoa dust.

I think what I’ll do is look for a tile patterned vinyl with blues and a similar beige. That should help tie it together. Definitely decided against white walls now.

That looks good! Really like those tiles. I have no idea what silicon was autocorrected from! The other one was Valspar!

I think inchyra blue looks great with beige.

I think I’m going to go with Nice from B&Q. The inchyra blue is lovely, and very like the blue I first thought about, but decided too dark for such a small space with no natural light.
