I need inspiration!

Currently have nets on a through lounge / diner - front of house is overlooked from road so privacy an issue. Back is private.

2 bedrooms at front of house currently have black out roller blinds and curtains and master bedroom back of house has just curtains.

Bathroom and kitchen both had roller blinds but were taken down when we decorated and not replaced.

DH likes Venetians and I do but thinking will the cats wreck them sticking heads through.

Will vertical blinds give enough privacy?

The only thing we all agree on the nets and curtains have to go!

I would have thought that it's easier for a cat to stick their head through a vertical blind than a venetian.
I'm about to buy these once I have window to hang them at

I would avoid vertical blinds with cats. The first house we bought had them on all the windows and the patio doors and they ended up covered in cat hair where the cat tried to squeeze through the slats. The chains at the bottom of the vertical blinds were also prone to breaking thanks to a rather boisterous cat!

I'd opt for wooden blinds.

Or possibly day and night blinds:
