Fitted wardrobes

If anyone has had fitted wardrobes done I'd appreciate knowing prices so to compare. I've been quoted £3000 for an 8 door wardrobe, half of which will have glass panelling (like a shaker door but the panels are glass). They will also have a set of internal drawers and a mixture of shelves and hanging rails inside.

I have no idea if this is a good price or it's ridiculously expensive so would be great to have some comparisons!

Sounds decent to me. I got well and truly ripped off by Sharps and that price is a lot less than I paid. I have 7 doors (one is a corner wardrobe, a small set of drawers and bedside cabinets (no glass at all) and it cost more than double what you've been quoted - and that was in the sale.

@Doormat247 wow that's painfully expensive ! Did you shop around for quotes ?

We struggled to get many quotes from the local area and as we didn't drive we couldn't go out searching.
They do finance so my exh preferred them and was quite taken with all the fancy (useless) extras such as pull out shoe racks, tie racks etc.
They do look nice, but very overpriced. There's a long guarantee on them too - about 12yrs I think.

Really think about what you actually need - there's things I wish I'd done differently with the layout. Make sure you have enough hanging space but also internal drawers etc. I don't have enough drawer space!
