If you were decorating what sofa?

I need a new sofa. My living room is small, it has dark wood floors and at the minute it has a huge sofa from DFS, cream fabric (now irredeemably stained!) with scatter cushions on the back, and a love seat in the same colour etc.

I want something stylish, but hard wearing (3kids!) and I don’t have a fortune to spend.

I like the look of this sofa (hopefully attached!) but have no idea how to style it, what chair? Cushions or not? Is it too trendy for me!?

What would you go for?

Jade and hot pink cushions, neutral walls.

I think navy's a good basic to see you through the next few years.

Sofa is beautiful, I'd say very pale grey (almost a silvery) walls and a feature wall of either a strong colour paint or a wallpaper. I'm not sure on chair because don't know logistics of your living room but if you have room then a nice armchair of similar shape would be great not necessarily in same colour, chair could be a statement of grey or silver.

I don’t think I’m brave enough for hot pink! But I do like the sound of silver/pale grey.

We have a navy sofa with very light mustard walls. Looks warm and elegant (in my view)

Sometimes different textures work
