Can shutters go on all windows??

Hi All,

We are about to install shutters in our house. The 4 front windows are a given but also thinking about adding shutters to the 2 bedroom windows at the rear of the house. Is that the usual thing to do??

Most people seem to put just curtains at the back but I’m thinking maybe it’s good to all be the same and then add cheaper curtains over the top to soften it if need be a bit later?!

Any thoughts? Any one else added shutters to all main windows front and back???

We've had shutters installed on all the windows to the front of the house. We'll be getting the back windows done as soon as we've saved enough money!

We have shutters at the back as they suited the room better. For bedrooms we went for solid shutters rather than slats to minimise light.

Thank you so much! We went for it..... all rooms to be shuttered! They do look amazing and decided we could always put curtains over later to soften them if we need/ want to..... but they can be cheaper as the shutters will do most of the work! Thanks again! x
