Glitter paint or glaze for child's room anyone done?

My dd would like one wall of her room glittery but not sure how to achieve it. Anyone done this?

Yes dds done this is her room. Dead easy, got glitter from b & m, mixed into paint and painted on. Very effective.

You can buy glitter wall paper. We has some in our first living room with a fine glitter by Julian MacDonald I believe. I'm sure you can buy more dramatic paper. It might be hard painting over glitter if you paste/ paint it on walls.

We did this for my younger sister a while ago.
Painted it a standard purple first then mixed glitter with a clear varnish type paint and put that on top once the purple had dried.
Looked brilliant but I can't remember the name of the clear paint thing which isn't helpful. :/

Go on the diy on a budget fb page. They like a bit of glitter over there and will have loads of advice!

I wasn't sure if I mixed it with paint if it would just look like textured paint and not show through the glitter.

Valspar do a glitter that you can just add into paint. It's not cheap, but looks pretty good. Get it in B&Q.
