F&B colour matching.

Really want Middleton Pink through our flat but with two young children I want something harder wearing as have heard F&B rubbish for halls etc. Just had a tester pot colour matched with Johnston's and it looks beige/peach, not pink at all 😭 anyone had success with colour matching Middleton Pink? Or have a Dulux/Crown/Johnston's dupe which is good? I posted asking about the perfect pink a few weeks ago and Middleton Pink is The One!
I've spent SO much on testers and our decorators start on Tuesday. HALP!

Have used the dulux colour matching at Homebase several times for a few FB colours-always perfect!

Thanks silversun! I actually discovered Dulux Fuschia Falls 6 is similar to Middleton Pink and I actually prefer the look of it in my space! So pleased to have it sorted finally!

We have used B & Q Valspar to colour match with F & B. Like you I wanted something washable with kids and pets. The valspar one we chose is scrub able and is exactly the same shade as F & B paint we chose.

Silversun - when I asked in my local Homebase to colour match an F&B colour, they refused because ‘F&B’ colours are too specific & they can not guarantee an exact match so therefore not allowed to!’ It was a few months ago though so I may wander in again try my luck as I do want another F&B paint. Might get lucky if it’s a different person working!

I got an excellent match to F&B Clunch in Johnstones trade paint. But any match won't have all the depth and different tones that F&B are known for so this happens a lot. You could use the match and get just enough F&B proper for a top coat.

B&Q Valspar say they can match F&B. Our kitchen provider uses F&B so I don't know if it is true.

They will make small amounts as I had a school project and they mixed loads of shades in Masonry paint.
