Warm neutral green paint?

Is there such a thing? Considering using the same colour throughout the communal spaces so longish lounge diner, hall stairs and landing.

My spare room is currently a lovely sage green (soon to be dd2s room when it will be black if she had her way) but it's small so can take a more intense shade.

I need this to be harmonious and warming but neutralish at the same time. Green makes me feel happy so this was my first thought rather than a cream or a grey. Doors, woodwork and ceiling would be white btw.

Also what carpet would you suggest? Again want same throughout. Dh has a real thing about wanting darker flooring just because our current carpet got really mucky really quickly. I am AWFUL at visualising floor colour and get it wrong very easily.

I have Kitchen Green by Little Greene (My absolutely favour ite pain ever. Much nicer than F&B) also have white woodwork (deep skirting boards) I have a neutral wooden floor but you could go for dark wood. I'm no use with carpet though. Not had the stuff in years.

Farrow and Ball Old White would be good.

Try Little Greene “Pearl Colour”, it is a grey/green and also comes in paler and darker versions. You could also look at Farrow & Ball Cromarty which is a little more yellowy so warmer but also more traditional in feeling.

Colortrend Silk Seal is a gorgeous greeny bluey neutral and would be gorgeous with dark floors.

It's the wall colour behind the painted chest of drawers.

F&B Teresa’s Green.

Another mizzle. Though mine is slightly greener than how it looks in that gorgeous bathroom picture posted!

I have F&B Bone in the dining room which looks dirty green-ish to me. I love it.

I do like mizzle - both colour and word.

What carpet would go though? Widen floors not an option v sadly

It’s a grey tone, so I’d go for a light grey

Lovebeingmama · 02/08/2019 06:04

I love mizzle. If you wanted something even more muted, shaded white is nice.

Lovebeingmama · 02/08/2019 06:11

With the carpet colour grey would go nice. If you wanted something neutral that isn’t a grey, I’d go for a light faun or similar. Get your samples as it’s a about tone. When I looked at neutral carpet with a yellow tone against my green/grey walls, I didn’t like it at all.
