EMMA mattress too hot. Will a wool topper make all the difference?

We have a new Emma mattress, which DH loves but I’m waking in the night as I find it hot and a bit sweaty! Before we give up and revert to a super-heavy sprung mattress (super-king), has anyone used a wool topper (and wool duvet) on one of these bed-in-a-box or foam mattresses and overcome the overheating problem? Thanks.

I think it’s a common thing with memory foam. Have you tried cooling fitted sheet and duvet cover? We have a spring with memory foam top layer and over the summer I bought a cool technology sheets and it’s made a difference for sure.

Thank you Blondie. Has anyone tried the wool toppers and duvets as a solution?

I have a memory foam mattress (love it) with a Coolmax (or maybe Outlast, can't remember) mattress cover. I also have a Baavet wool duvet which I also love.

I'm not too hot in bed, even though I'm menopausal and have daytime hot flushes.

I do just have an empty duvet cover on at the moment though because it's so warm.
